We’re Chris and Lou, co-founders of Holy Duck Chili, based in Vancouver, BC. Our journey began with a passion to recreate the authentic taste of Asia using Canadian farm-fresh ingredients. We partner directly with local farms like Fraser Valley Specialty Poultry to ensure sustainability and premium quality. Unlike mass-produced alternatives filled with preservatives, our gourmet condiments offer a fresh, bold, mouthgasmic experience.
In Holy Duck Test Kitchen, we use a time-honored triple-fry method to draw out deep, bold flavors of aromatics with finely rendered Canadian duck fat. This creates our signature, in-house “MSG” from natural umami sources—no artificial additives needed.
Duck fat, central to our hero product, is rich in heart-healthy monounsaturated fats, aligning with our mission to offer delicious flavors with health in mind. It helps lower LDL cholesterol and supports cardiovascular health, making Holy Duck Chili Oil both indulgent and nourishing.
Our proudest moments include being featured in a Global News live segment, ‘Made in Vancouver Awards 2022’ and having our story documented in an upcoming CBC Food Series airing in 2024 Winter.
