Reduce Single Use

Colibri is my passion, a venture I started in 2009 with my sister. Initially, we focused on creating comfortable baby carriers for local moms in St. Adolphe. However, our product line quickly expanded to include solutions that make life easier while reducing single-use plastics.

Navigating the landscape as a small maker in Canada has its challenges, but collaborating with an incredible team makes it worthwhile. As a single mom to two wonderful teenage boys, I’m fortunate to have their support. My 18-year-old excels at fabric cutting, while my 16-year-old is eager to learn sewing. Their insights inspire new prints and keep us current with trends.

In 2024, I’m excited to explore screen printing, a new medium that will allow me to bring my prints to life by hand. I aim to offer a small line of screen-printed options across all our products, adding a personal touch and expanding our creative possibilities.
