Born in the desolate wastelands of Saskatchewan, Canada, he crafted his secret identity alongside his close companions: Conan the Barbarian, Eraserhead, and Jareth the Goblin King.

Called to adventure, he became and artist, striding through the Materium facing off against sinister scoundrels and nefarious nemeses of the Demiurge, like Dr. Time, Lady Meaning, and Count Moolah.
